Maureen has made films, run festivals and events and worked with the biggest names in the industry. She's on a mission to platform the Scottish grassroots industry and champion independent talent.  

The Scottish Screenwriters Festival is a two day industry event with no gate keeping, creating opportunity for tangible outcome and career growth.

The Scottish Screenwriters Festival would be nothing without its team of dedicated volunteers! An award winning screenwriter and director in her own right, Sarah is kind enough to lend a creative polymath helping hand to all things logistic within the team. 

We're incredibly lucky to have Sarah back with us this year!

Every team needs a character and actor David R Montgomery is ours. Davy is an ambassador for Scottish independent talent and supports many initiatives across the creative industries in Scotland. 

Davy looks after our speakers from arrival to departure and liaises with the green room as well as the elevator pitch. 

Self published author turned budding screenwriter, Andy brings flexibility and quiet efficiency to the operations team. 

Andy is dedicated to making sure delegates have an optimum experience at the festival.
